April 1, 2026 is a significant date for Alberta’s Towing Industry. It marks the onset of the new Vehicle Towing and Storage Regulation that has been established by our Provincial Government’s Ministry of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction.
The Towing and Recovery Association of Alberta has emailed information to its members and also to its prospective members with suggestions and templates for how businesses can create their own operational procedures to be compliant with the new Regulation.
The Consumer Services Division of the Ministry of Service and Red Tape Reduction has emailed resource information to Alberta Towing Companies.
